Week 2 Task

Similarities between my local teaching & learning circumstances and Gate’s message in “The Road Ahead”:
1. Classrooms are largely connected to the network, which enables both teachers and students to get access to better communication channels;
2. Multimedia classroom environment has been created to make the most of the combination of text, images, sound, video and animation.

Differences:
1. The Road Ahead depicts the classroom environment as “teacher centrally important, spending more time with small groups of students working together using a personal computer that is connected to the network”; while under my local circumstance, many students can’t afford such a luxury;
2. The Road Ahead draws a picture of using digital white board in the classroom, which seems marvelous in use; while under my local circumstance, there’s still some way to go before we can really put that into practice.

yes. Gates' picture about the teaching future is marvelous. Fortunately enough, we are learning to create a comparatively marvelous learning environment for our students. It must be pretty rewarding to put more efforts in this module. Hopefully, our future students will enjoy more of our lessons!
